I'm not sure if I replied to your last from ages ago, so sorry about that. It's been super busy nearing the end of Senior year...4 days and I'm on to Art School in Baltimore.

I decided on the Murf (as you can tell). I love the thing...such a new approach to music.

Like I said: for bass, the half mark and above distorts with drive...so it'll be loduer for sure...but sound as awful as dying lambs

I run my 4 string bass through a Murf and was wondering if its suppose to sound a bit quieter than other effects. WHen i disengage the murf my bass sounds quite loud. I have my output all the way up, and the drive under half, or else it will distort.

is this right?

What settings do you guys like that are reminisant of chorus and flagerlike effects...like the underwater and swirling cascade 2 samples on the website...What are the dial numbers etc...

I got my Bassman 400 Pro combo last year and its only until now that I've gotten an effect (the murf) that I can run through the Effects loop. How exactly do I set this up?

Do I put the send cable into the Audio in on the Murf and the Return in the Left audio out...then plug my bass into the main ...

I play electric bass, what settings do you guys like that are reminisant of chorus and flagerlike effects...like the underwater and swirling cascade 2 samples on the website...

Mna I have such bad G.A.S. at the moment...wish I could get both...but i'm lacking the 700 bucks to get both...

I found some good samples of both pedals on Musicians Friend (when they buffered properly)...and that made it even harder to decide...It's gonna come down to price I think...

Hang on...Stop slapping?!...I might not slap while using the MuRF...but even then I'll find a way...Slapping is the one guitarists can't steal...

I'm about to purchase a moogerfooger and have narrowed it down to the Murf and the Low Pass filter...I was wondering which one would be the best to get first...I love the sounds that the Murf can produce but I like envelope filters to...

I play bass if that helps. My playing ranges from multinote ...

What's the range of sounds that you can achieve with the low pass, how does it compare with that of other envelopers?

Do you have any samples of what the low pass can do for bass?

Oh ok, I'll check that Prunes and Custard out...

I'm looking for that nice flat *blurp* envelope filter sound...as well as the crazier sounding stuff that plays multiple notes when you hit one...

So what range of sounds can I get out of the Low Pass...can I get long syth type sounds that drone up and down on one note...and then switch to ...

That song kicks @$$! What effect did you use on your bass? I'm looking into getting the Low Pass Filter and wanted to hear it on bass, so if that was it, hot damn.

Moog's sound samples are great, except they don't have a lot of bass samples. Does anyone have any samples or know where to hear samples of the Low Pass on bass?
