Sound Clips of the Low Pass on Bass
Moog's sound samples are great, except they don't have a lot of bass samples. Does anyone have any samples or know where to hear samples of the Low Pass on bass?
i just bought my low pass filter and i play a vintage fender bass, i'm sure that in a very short time i'll have something put on tape with it.
when i do i'll post a link for it here on the forum.
maybe it will take a while but not too long for it to happen!
any way, i have the ring mod. 102 too and i can tell you right now that the low pass filter is much more easy to apply through a bass in a band although the ring mod. on bass could make music very modern and interesting when i find my way to do it without making the guitar player look at me with green eyes (if you follow my drift)!

about the range of sounds... i don't now yet cause' i have to spend more time playing with it but it also depends if you have another mooger fooger pedal (like the ring mod.) cause' you can connect lets say the env. out from the low pass to the freq. in of the ring mod. and create a sound that you can't with each one by its self or even connected in the regular manner.
and about how it compares to another env. ...
i didn't try many but the mooger fooger effects have such a vintage mini moog 70' sound to it, even on bass, its just wonderful!
but if you still want some taste of the sound listen to 'head hunters' by herbie hancock first song when the bass comes in on the higher octave with the melodic riff (~30 sec).
that maybe not the exact sound but very very close to it!
