Confirm setting to send program change send/receive:
SETTING -> Config (PGM 16) -> Page 3 (48) -> PGM 2 (Program Change) ->
PGM 1 Lit Send is ON, PGM 1 Off Send is OFF
PGM 2 Lit Receive is ON, PGM 2 Off Receive is OFF

Also, confirm the MIDI I/O settings in: SETTING / Config, Page 3, Parameter 4 ...

To run this Tuning Procedure, you must upgrade to firmware v1.0.7

SETTINGS -> CONFIG(PGM 16) -> PAGE TO 4(64) -> PGM 14
Wait for tuning to complete. Approx. 14 seconds.

Change midi send & receive channels to channel 7
SETTING -> MIDI (15) -> 7 (Channel) -> SETTING

Change midi receiving channel to channel 7 and send to 1
SETTING -> MIDI (15) -> 7 (Input Channel) -> Press & Hold 1 (Output Channel) -> SETTING

MIDI SETUP / MIDI IN: DIN/USB

My Slim Phatty shows up in DAWs. But no MIDI shows up at the Slim.
All the obvious checked. Routing properly setup. DAW (Ableton) actually sees the MIDI IN and MIDI OUT device of the Slim.

Could you use the lfo set to a ramp wave, and turn the pitch knob of whichever lfo used turned to the left? You could also use keyboard reset so every key you press triggers the lfo as well.

I'm not quite sure the Moog VST Plug-In works the way you're trying to make it work. It's not an Access TI VST where it uses the hardware to process but the audio comes out of your DAW. The Moog synth is not an audio interface.
