Re: Amos: LP/Slim Firmware Suggestions

The Phatty's seem to be missing this option. LFO SYNC MODE:Internal Master LFO SYNC MODE:Internal Independent ARPEGG MODE:Internal Master ARPEGG MODE:Internal Independent In Master mode the LFO and Apeggiator would would be synced to one internal clock, adjusted by the rate knob or tap tempo. LFO an...

Re: Ribbon Controllers

I want an appendage to interface mine. I always drooled over the Continuum XYZ ribbon but my salivation dried as soon as I saw the price tag. Looking for a fairly inexpensive DIY kit, my attention was also directed to the Appendage. I think I spent around $200 for the entire product and roughly log...

Re: Amos: LP/SP Firmware Suggestions

There needs to be a way to sync and adjust ratios of the LFO and Arpeggiator by using the internal clock of the Little Phatty. Previously this function was "buggy", I don't see why it couldn't be improved on now knowing that new code has been written for external sync, which works wonderful...

Re: MiniBrute Pitch Out to Sub Phatty Pitch In

I don't own either of these synths but this seems to be an easy fix. As far as the two synths not following one another, this is why there is a master tuning knob. If using the Minibrute as a controiler I would suggest using a MIDI connection for communication. Never have played with one, I quickly ...

Re: Dark Time -> LP (gate problem?)

Assar, make sure that some of the Darktime steps are turned to the on position(three position switch). If a step is selected to be off or skipped, it will not send a gate signal. Also, Have you messed with the pulsewidth control?

Stiiive,
Your right, I also experienced a stuck note with those parameters. Hopefully we'll see an update soon. I would like to see LFO/Arp sync in the update.

Re: Moog, while trimming the fat you took some Phatty meat

One way to implement it would be to have the rate button in the LFO section controls the "Internal clock." The subdivisions for the LFO that apply to midi clock would apply to the internal clock. One of the LFO clock division would be the same as the current LFO range, 1/4 note or whole n...

Re: Moog, while trimming the fat you took some Phatty meat

That you want the Arp to run at the same rate as the LFO?) Thanks. Yes for the most part. It would also be nice for the LFO to have the capability to modulate at different rates or subdivisions of the Arpeggiator clock and visa versa. The 3.1v update for the Stage II completely removed the option t...

Moog, while trimming the fat you took some Phatty meat

It is in my opinion that the last few updates have been a great improvement to the Little Phatty software. With this said, my LP has been sitting by the sidelines for the last year. This is because the LFO arpeggiator sync function was removed. Now, one can do this via tap tempo but lets be honest i...

Re: Little Phatty with sustain pedal as midi controller

I don't own any polyphonic synths to test, but I have a suspicion that the gate in option needs to be adjusted. Under the main Midi screen, there are options to change pedal behavior(gate in): Gate, Sustain, and Gate/Sustain. Hope that helps.

Re: Switching on the "Batcall" for Mr. Lightner

I've modified the LP's Mod CV out to always be an unattenuated signal, that is: pre-mod wheel. If you would like information on how todo this, let me know. It requires soldering onto a A SMD component.

Re: C Key sounding different

I would guess that the patches that exhibit this behavior have filter or volume velocity enabled and the controller keyboards "C" key is wearing out, thus sending different velocity behavior than the other keys. Just a guess.

Re: cv in to cv out

My favorite little trick is to send osc2 to an effect and then feed it back into the external input. Not sure if most Phatties can do do this. I modified mine so the modulation source is pre-mod wheel. I forget, if one has the amount knob(for modulation target) all of the way down and the mod wheel ...

Re: Little Phatty CV out modification to the pitch CV out ?

Hello, I looked into this for a while. I currently use the Phatty to control my modular system. Along the way I found that the Little Phatty has a few hang ups as a controller. First, if you plan to control more than one module with this synth, I'd highly suggest building/buying an active buffer to ...
