If you create a patch on the XL that uses the additional CV patching features, does this mean you can't save the sound to memory?
I am curious how this works, as of course the cables would not necessarily be in the same place the next time you recall your sound etc.

Short answer is yes.

This a common ground loop problem with USB equipped audio gear. It's normal. My workaround is to not use USB.

The only thing preventing me from buying the LP ATA case is the fact that it doesn't have a gasketed valance. It appears to be a Gator case.

Such a subjective subject. For example I love the shape of the LP but I think the keys feel mediocre.
