I have an SP, and its a MONO instrument. Which means you need to change the 'Stereo' setting to 'Mono' on the channel strip that you're recording into.

To send audio, put a clip that you wish to send on a audio channel and from the Audio To drop down menu select a channel on your sound card that is connected to the Audio in of the Slim Phatty. You should now be able to hear your clip via the channel that you're using to monitor the Phatty.

I've checked out the i/o dock and think that 200$ might be a little too much for what I need. I don't need all those midi capabilities since the CCK is working just fine for me. iRig costs 40$-All I need is something that does the same thing but with an 1/4th inch out and not a 1/8th inch ...

Or if you want to connect it to the record the LP or use the iphone as an effects processor then there are several options.

1)iRig
2)peavey Ampkit
3)Apogee Jam
4)Alesis I/O dock
5) griffin guitar connect cable etc etc.

A little more complicated but effective way is to use the camera connection kit ...
