I have had a moog break on me twice in the last month one a slim phatty an the other a voyager RME

they happened in two separate studios, about 3 weeks into purchase

the only thing that I can think that is similarity in these events was there was more than one midi signal flying about in the ...

weird cos the 8 bit video game sound preset (A - 16) is fine, but then when I put it up one preset to Wormy Lead (A - 17) the tone just starts then it wont stop

then the tone that is playing is a hanging note on the last note that was played

Ive only had my RME for a few weeks, but today it wont stop making a solid tone

its the sound of whatever preset it is, but it just kicks out a solid tone which wont stop.

its not the envelope gate being on the ON / EXT setting, when I put it on that setting it makes a noise on top of the ...

I think it must just be a glitch in logic 8

when I click the 'R' record on the Audio channel that is recieving audio from the RME

then, when I click the 'R' to engage the midi on the external midi channel it resets the preset back to the 1st one of the bank

but if you just click the external midi ...

just going through the manual for my Voyager RME & I noticed that some of the menus arnt there that the manual mentions, such as the Local controls in the panel menu - my RME has firmware 3.5

reason I was asking is beacause I am experiencing filter sweep laddering, much the same as this guy here ...

I literally just received my RME about an hour ago after waiting a week for delivery.... very excited

im using logic 8 & I have noticed that when I clicking my midi input & audio input channel then press record that it resets the preset back to number one, this has happened twice now ...

ive tried the sysex librarian, but ive found, if i do a bulk dump with all my presets, then I try to send them back to essentially restore factory presets, that all the preset names come up as just strange symbols & that the sounds arnt the same, its like its corrupt?

Hi I know a few people have asked about saving presets but Im still a little confused, could someone help me out with this?

am I right in saying that, you cant save a preset on the SP without overriding one of the factory ones?
