Greg's challenge 2007
Hey, Greg... I knew you would get Mark M's attention with that head-to-head-to-head challenge !! What a great resource that would be to hundreds of viewers of this Moog Forum and others, such as Mr. Mosc's electro-music.com site. All I would ask is that you explore a very wide range of timbres, modu...

Thanks to Chris Green for the YouTube video demo of the Zeit using an RME Voyager. Just can't quite place that song..."Yes, We Have No Bananas"?

Portable case for RME Voyager
Height and width of the RME are listed but not the depth.
Do any of you know if it will fit in a portable case such as the SKB mixer case (SKB19P12) ??
Any other suggestions for a portable case that would allow the RME to sit upright or at an angle ?
Thanks

Remembering Dr. Bob
Yes, thanks so very much Mooger5 for that post. Lots of wisdom in a few words ! Similar trains of thought can be seen in interviews with Klaus Schulze on his official website. Always insightful - at times caustic - but drawing, as did Dr. Bob, on many years of experience. Here's a link to interviews...

Interview with Joe Zawinul
Terrific interview in the Jan. www.keyboardmag.com with Mr. Z... a living legend... here's a quote from page 24: " The synthesizer is a very difficult instrument to play, because you have to practice each sound, and get each attack so you get the right feeling of the particular sound. Too many ...

Step Sequencers
Thanks to T. Kopper for speedy reply to my e-mail about sequencers. I had spent several hours trying to read and comprehend the Owners Manual of the Doepfer MAQ 16/3 this past weekend. Now you've shared your excitement of the Schrittmacher Midi Step Sequencer with me and I've printed out the manual ...

Rackmount mixer ?
Hey gang, Some of you may know that Eventide strongly recommends using balanced input/output for their processors. My little Peavey PV8 mixer sends a balanced output from the effects send/return and sounds great with the Eclipse. But, I'm saving my pennies for the RME Voyager and prefer to keep ever...

Had no idea so many of you would respond with heartfelt suggestions. Have to admit that it was very nice of DOEPFER to post in their Gallery the two photos of Dr. Bob at the Musikmesse Frankfurt 2002 show.... and oh,boy..those sequencers with 48 pots.. ! Back to keyboards, all of us have different n...

Midi-controller keyboards
Sure appreciate your replies and sense of humor. Have been considering the CME keyboards...their UF series looks very useful. Just for the fun of it I have looked at the Doepfer lmk2 and lmk4 on AnalogueHaven's website and even downloaded the owner's manuals from the Doepfer homepage.... let's see.....

Keyboards for RME
Hello Gang, What a thrill to read thru your posts and see the enthusiasm for the RME. Way back in the '70s I owned and enjoyed a Mini-Moog for a few years and now, the thought of having access to presets and midi control is beyond belief ! My question: Are there any particular midi-controller keyboa...
