I've got more places to take the Voyager now and I'm looking to buy one of the ATA cases. There is a significant price difference between the molded and aluminum, but there's a finite amount of the aluminum and it might be nice to get one of the last few.
So, how do they compare?
ATA Cases
The aluminum one is fantasic. It weighs 40+ lbs, but is easy to transport because of the great wheels, balance, and handle. It has some nice rubber bumpers on it as well. As I recall the molded case is either wider or longer than the aluminum but much lighter. I lucked out and got my aluminum case from a store going out of business. I paid $150 for it. I've read that the molded case is quite durable and does well going through airports.

Portable case for RME Voyager
Height and width of the RME are listed but not the depth.
Do any of you know if it will fit in a portable case such as the SKB mixer case (SKB19P12) ??
Any other suggestions for a portable case that would allow the RME to sit upright or at an angle ?
Thanks

After much thought I chose the ATA case, it's almost bomb proof. Even though I don't take it out very often, when I do it is well protected.
I invested too much in my Voyager and would be sick if it got busted up in transit. The ATA is more $ but it should protect your Voyager from anything short of an atomic blast.
