another use for the volume pedal i figured out today: output an lfo/cv into the volume pedal and then to the desired destination. limits the range that the destination setting will change over. really good for modulating the time on the delay because you can get really subtle modulation instead of something real extreme. (maybe this is kinda obvious, but i thought it was neat)

Here's one resource if you want to know how. I haven't read it thoroughly and tried it; I'm sure there are other resources if you look.

This is the way to go if you want something hefty. Go to a pawn shop and get the cheapest CryBaby you can. Or, better yet, get a Jimi Hendrix Wah, those sound like a snake's fart anyway, you bascially rip everything but the pot out and get yerself a stereo jack and wire it onto that puppy.

Does he sell the modded Ernie Balls by themselves? I assumed he'd be selling them exclusively as controllers for his tremolo and delay pedals.

I've been on a waiting list for his analog delay (Echoczar) for over 9 months now. He builds all the stuff himself, so I figure I've probably got another 6 months to wait. His DELAY pedals are not for people in a hurry..

i didn't realize that there was such a long waitlist for an echoczar pedal. that's crazy.

I assume he might sell them by themselves, he hasn't stated specifically that they're only to be bought with his stuff. But I don't know.

If I had the money and patience I'd definately jump on the list for the Echoczar, everyone who has one seems think it's the best delay they've used. I'm sure your purchase will be well worth it. The SD is perfect for me though 8) .

I have an Echoczar. It is an outstanding pedal. You need to stay on top of Ed, otherwise you will be waiting a long time...

I bought an Alesis F2 pedal. Seems solid and has 2 settings for cv, and is also a volume pedal. IMHO, it's a better expression pedal.

Maybe we should all e-mail Moog and kindly ask them to equal the quality of their other pedals to that of the expression pedal.

I bet a couple hundred e-mails could do the trick. :)
