Then it was silent....

Post by William Bovendeerd » Thu Jan 29, 2015 8:52 am

Hi Moogers,
I recently bought a Slim Phatty. Everything workesd. Great sounds.till now: no more output... Tried everything: reset factory settings - play note: and "yes". Sounds on the speaker and in the headphone.... But nothing happens playing on my midi- device. Allthoung SP receives midi messages. What do I do wrong? Tnx for answering...

I had similar problem once. It turned out that if SP is powered on with MIDI messages coming to its MIDI input it can lock out and produce no sound unless you trigger it with GATE/CV inputs. My sequencer was sending clock if not running, and that was the problem.
