Sub 37 editor/librarian and VST plugin

The aspect of Overbridge is beside the point though, because 1) I didn’t posit it as one of the 2 instances of Elektron as an exemplar (the +Drive and audio interface are); it was just mentioned as incidental information and 2) as I mentioned previously it was not a launch feature, so not a part of my argument or this thread’s discussion. Additionally, Overbridge was announced as a post-release feature for all of their products that use it—the Analog Four released in 2012, Analog Keys in 2013, Analog Rytm announced Jan. 2014 and Overbridge in March 2014.

Just to be clear, though I think this is clear, because textual tone can be misinterpreted, I’m not being argumentative with you. Only clarifying my point.

This reminds me of the 1.1.0 firmware thread.

The editor will come. In time. I’ll bet it works well on arrival too.

Anyone updated to 1.1.1 yet ?
Neither have I :sunglasses:

no problem man, really. I didn’t quite understand you, sorry. let’s hope the editor comes out soon  .

Just be glad you don’t own anything by DSI

cough Tempest cough

I’ve got the beta version and it’s working fine so far. Mac OSX 10.11 El Capitan will be released today. I think it would be wiser if we test it on the new OS before releasing it.

It may be the reason for the delay ? Sometimes the agenda is not only up to moog.

editor still in testing, was at 0.9.8 4 weeks ago. getting closer.

Great news…Can’t wait to see it

Ah so it’s not a myth! That’s great to hear.
Any news about ETA?

Any updates for the editor release ?

Would be nice if someone keep us up to date

Thanks

time is flying by I wonder if we are any closer to the editor release.

They dont care about the long wait , would be nice to keep your customers happy and it dont take much to let some one ( maybe amos ) keep us up 2 date

Just a bump to see if anyone has heard anything about this.

Would be really nice to have.
The synth is the easiest to program out of all the modern Moogs, but some things still beg for a software editor. Programming complicated mod bus routings would be way faster on a screen. Clicking or scrolling carefully through that many mod destinations on that tiny screen takes a while. Naming patches would be way more painless with software editor, too.

It must be out soon as any longer and itll be a whole year after its first inception was made public. Still more time to learn the Sub 37 itself. I must admit I do get excited when there is a new email from Moog then only to discover its about Mother 32.

I am eagerly awaiting the editor sw. Wish there was a beta sign up…

It will be a christmas surprise probably  .. hopefully not for 2016’s xmas :unamused:

Or 2017… :unamused:

Hold your horses.

Editor at V0.9.19 Beta as of last week.

Easy as they go.

the rate between those versions I guess will mean it’ll arrive after new year 2016.

Faulty Logic Alert!
Revision numbers aren’t mapped out such that they occur at timed intervals. When there’s a bug fix or an improvement, software gets bumped up a number. Sometimes, in a crazy day, version numbers can do several jumps. Other times, known bugs are logged, but the software stays the same until a bunch of bugs and improvements are all addressed at the same time.

But it’s not like the software release is going to be held until all the numbers from 0.9.19 through 1.00 are used up.

I can tell you that the user interface works very well and it looks stunning. (It actually makes you computer look cooler.)

Oh man I’m so excited for the editor!!!

The Sub 37 is already such a filthy beast. This thing is gonna kick it up a notch.

BAM!
