Do I need to take off the bottom panels?
I have them racked up with the bottom panels, although the manual says to remove bottom panels. The reason I left them is because I don’t want dust going into through the middle of the Moogerfooger rack kit, as it has holes.
I just left mine on, seems like it offers some protection and they won’t get misplaced…
Left mine on as we’ll - works fine!
Leaving them on as well.
Cheers!
Took mine off. A lot less weight.
Whoa -
you must have a LOT of Foogers!!! ![]()
I left mine on as well, and I think it probably wouldn’t hurt either way. It’s better to have them on than to have metal parts to have to store.
12 of 'em racked and power supplies. With the racks and cabinets, the weight starts to matter.
Nice!!
Dude, you have GOT to post a photo of that rig … ![]()

I’m running 14 at the moment, along with two MP-201’s. It’s an amazing modular system.

Wow - that is awesome!
I’m having a hard time just picturing what 12 or 14 racked MoogerFoogers looks like, much less what it takes to get them all patched in & tweaked!
I sometime have a hard time just keeping up with 3 of 'em… ![]()
The Foogers are adjunct to a 76 space modular system. Keeping track of patching is part of the game. And ever since Moog ‘upgraded’ the forum, posting pics has not been possible for me. If it takes one at all, it crops half off if it.
Photobucket… it’s free. Show your stuff ![]()
You can see most of 'em in this video.

My humble rack.

Now to get rack ears for the Slim Phatty and slide it underneath the Virus C…or if I can find rack ears for the Nord I can put my SP where the Nord Lead 1 rack resides so I can quickly patch cables in and out from the back.
Not sure “humble” is accurate… ![]()
Nice set of racks!!! ![]()
Not that this thread is the appropriate forum for this question, but I would love to know more about your modular set up. Do you have a webpage or posts on Muff’s that goes into more detail on your setup?

There are numerous threads in the 5U sub on muff’s. Same handle there as here. Since it is ever evolving, nothing could be kept current. This started as 11 modules a few years back and has gone as large as 110MU at one point. I’ve got one more of the Amhearst cabinets that is getting populated right now as a busking box of unusual audio mangling. It will have built in amps and speakers, but look identical to the other three cabinets. The Wogglebug, Haible FS, DDVCO, some utilitys and 1 time suite will end up in that box.
