Modulation Oscillator Frequency barely modulatable
The Modulation Oscillator's frequency is barely modulatable. I want an envelope to modulate the frequency of this oscillator. However, it can only be modified by a minor amount. At full modulation, the frequency will double, at best, where I would expect 100% modulation across the entire frequency ...

Re: Minimoog Model D [Mod Src Input] and external mod control
The diagram in the manual shows what’s the tip and what the ring is. I love schematics. And yes, I was correct in that the tip is the input, while the ring outputs the pink or red noise.
I am curious if using a standard TS connection how noise is not introduced to the input. I trust that it’s fine ...

Re: New Subsequent 37 sizzling
This is a ground loop caused by your pc and usb connection. Amazon sells USB Ground Loop Isolators. Doesn’t work with every keyboard/ midi pairing. But it works for my sub37cv.

I would contact Moog directly. I know from experience they won’t overcharge you (moog one pots). And I’m guessing they would be fair about shipping across the pond.

Re: Minimoog model D sound comparison question
I can’t speak on the Grandmother. However, the Sub37 can get downright gnarly. The filter features the multidrive circuit, coupled with feeding the sound back into itself. Both of which I don’t think the GM is capable of.

Re: Minimoog Model D [Mod Src Input] and external mod control
As I wait for my precious to arrive I’m trying to understand the nature of the modulation source input.
It seems that it’s safe to plug in a CV via TS cable. And that this will override the noise modulation (when selected).
Or when using a TRS, there is an input (I assume on the tip), and the ...

My fingers are still crossed. But if we don't see anything in 2025, that's probably it.

Re: Loose octave knob
Not an easy task, but they’ll pop off.
My 3rd octave was loose as well. Take two old hotel cards to help pry evenly from both sides.
It’s a 12mm nut underneath.
Cheers

Subsequent 37 CV All Presets CV1 Pitch 0-10v
Curious why -5v to +5 is the default output for Keyboard Pitch. I can definitely see it useful if I were adding an outside sequence along side the subsequent outputting to another module. I just felt that I'll be adding more voices to layer the subsequent.

This applies to all Voyagers.

for ableton live go into your midi settings and make sure sync is selected for the MIDI OUT port that your Voyager is connected to.
