New Subsequent 37 sizzling

Post by HerveDelor » Tue Nov 19, 2024 5:07 pm

Hello all,

I just bought a Subsequent 37 and it's my first Moog. Unfortunately, there is an unpleasant sizzling when I move most of the button (volume, multi drive, wave, mixer..) when connected in USB. Less noise without USB connected to the computer, but still. I send it back to the reseller and he sends it back to me with no difference.
I'm very sad, because it ruins my experience and I can't touch the button when I trail to record and it limits a lot what I can do.
Exemple: Init preset, filter over 80hz and turning the volume up and down, the noise is here, inconsistent and very unpleasant.
I don't know what to do. Any advice?
Thank you!

This is a ground loop caused by your pc and usb connection. Amazon sells USB Ground Loop Isolators. Doesn’t work with every keyboard/ midi pairing. But it works for my sub37cv.
