Re: A novel idea A "Moog Soundcard"
I just thought that it would be really nice to basically have a modular analog synth. With a midi controller with knobs, how would it be that different than a slim phatty. I of course love hardware, but I'd rather have modular flexibility with something that only has 4 knobs and no keyboard ...

A novel idea A "Moog Soundcard"
Considering devices for use with protools utilize DSP chips that can then be used for instruments and effects and so forth, what about a "Moog Soudcard". It would include 3 VCO's, a VCF, and a VCA, then an analog out. Essentially the computer would allow you to apply digital sources as modifiers ...

Re: Build and Sell a modern version of the Moog "Constellati
Yeah, I completely agree about a moog polysynth not having curtis filters. I just was saying they could package it together if they were that opposed to building their own polysynth.

Re: Is my Subphatty able to recreate Little Phatty sounds?
I have to say I agree with the statement that the sub phatty sounds a bit more aggressive, and while it still sounds warmer than DCO's, it still isn't quite the same oscillator wise. Another major component is the overdrive/distortion on the filter. I personally like my LP's "Overload" better than ...

Re: Share your synthesizer music!
Here is my most recent synth pop track. Hopefully you'll enjoy it. I'd love to hear compliments and criticisms, so feel free to message me in regards to it. Also you could just comment on soundcloud, as that would be more likely for me to check. I tried to do this as if the Moog Constellation had ...

Re: Build and Sell a modern version of the Moog "Constellati
Yeah, I definitely agree on both the cost and the issue of what a moog poly would sound/look like. I do know people are willing to shell out lots of money for a good analog polysynth, and a new one would mean that there would be less worry about repairs, etc. Like I said, maybe they could team up ...

Build and Sell a modern version of the Moog "Constellation"
Considering Moog already produces two of the three parts necessary for a modern version of this, I don't think it would be a terrible idea if the company were to produce a polysynth and package it with the moog LP, sub phatty, or Voyager synth, the Minitaur w/ bass pedals or the Taurus 3 with bass ...
