Applying a pitch-envelope while 1 is already used for filter
Like the topic tells - is that possible on a SlimPhatty?

Re: Slim Phatty rack handles
Hi,
I'm from Germany and was also looking for Rack Ears and asked for if the other one could fit - unfortunately not so I ordered the official ones. Big Shock! It squeezed 50 € outta my wallet!

Re: cv signal from software generator
If you want to control a Phatty you won't really have to take advantage of such a plug-in since it can be controlled by MIDI. The other point is, that a software is not really producing an analoge signal - it will deal with bits - therefore quantized values will be sent what is different to real CV ...

Re: LP: real analogue pitch bend?
Because we already talk about this: Can anyone suggest me a keyboard that handles both, MIDI- and CV-Controls? We have one manufacturer in Germany, which is offering one (Doepfer). It has MIDI- and CV-outputs but lacks mod- and pitchwheels.
Any ideas?

Re: Does the phatty have the same grit/rawness of old moogs?
I already red about that, before I bought my Slim Phatty. So I went to an instrument store where I had a Little Phatty and a Voyager to compare in live. As far as I can tell, a Phatty's sound is more upfront than a Voyagers. Unfortunately at this point I didn't know about its capability to reduce ...

Re: Virtual Little Phatty Expander ?
Nerve, you got me wrong. Maybe my bad English caused confusion.
To me the point is: I bought a Slim Phatty because it's an analogue Synth fitting my budget. That's my reason for not buying an analogue Polysynth. It's not that I badly wanna have a Machine with limited capabilities, but only wanting ...

Re: Little phatty "basic questions"
Hello A-kut,
operating on Phatties is very comfortable. To start building a patch from scratch you can choose "CA Calibration Preset" which is based on a simple volume- and filter-sustaining one oscillator square wave. To store your own patches you will have to overwrite existing ones because the ...

Re: Virtual Little Phatty Expander ?
i'm also not seeing the point. I bought my Phatty knowing its limited capabilities but recognizing the sound is different to any softsynth. I wouldn't give a f**k about that I wouldn't have an analogue Synth.

Re: Output Volume and Low Signal
Sort of unrelated, but how do you like the Saffire 24? I'm in the market for one of these boxes and not sure which way to go. Are you a Mac or PC; did you find any use for the DSP functionality? Any other bugs or issues to report or are you happy with the unit?
Thanks.

Two basic operation-questions to the SP
Hi Slim Phatty users,
just bought that lovely Synth and I'm totally happy to own one.
Now I have 2 simple questions, I hope you can answer.
1. The manual says: "Pressing the encoder while rotating increments the preset selection by +10 or -10 presets."
I tried to do so but when I push in that ...

Re: Output Volume and Low Signal
I thought, my Slim Phatty's output was too low also and the posts in here seemed to confirm that. But I turned out to be my fault - I took it back to the store I purchased it from and the prooved everything with mine is okay. They just compared it with other Moogs and some digital Synths and mine ...
