Thanks for that. I'll dive in with some assistance and get this under control.

Moog why? (CV tracking)
Does anyone know or understand why Voyagers (some, most, all?) do not track CV input at 1V per octave? They seem to track at slightly less, creating obvious problems. The factory mod is mostly useless for overseas peeps like myself.

Hello people,
Here's a track from an album that I am just getting ready to release. This one is mostly done on my Old School, plus some other bits and pieces of course. Let me know what you think, if you have time to listen.
There are a few others on that same soundcloud if you get interested ...

Re: First gig with Phatty....or so I thought...Major Bug!!!
So, finally there is a mod. There had to be an internal workaround. I had a LP Stage II. Fine in the studio but random dancing lights and no control of parameters at random stage events. Eventually I got rid of the instrument. I will probably buy another one, once this is taken care of. Regards, Sid

Re: Old School Accessory port - MIDI?
What about using the Doepfer CV-Midi box to use the OS as a controller for another synth? Would the OS be able to control polyphonic notes from an external synth in this case?
I don't know the Doepfer box, but a control voltage is essentially monophonic. I.e. you would need a cv/gate pair for ...

Re: What do all you 'foogers think of the DSI Prophet?
Boy, this discussion got complicated.
When saying that the P08 had more diverse modulation than the vintage lot, I wasn't slagging off a P5 to any degree. But my P08 still has 4 LFO's and 4 matrix busses on top of separate busses for the wheels and keys. This goes way deeper than my old flagship ...

Re: What do all you 'foogers think of the DSI Prophet?
For anyone interested in prgramming their own sounds (besides brass & pads), the P08 is great. Modulation options are well beyond what we were used to on vintage gear. However, if you want presets, there are plenty of other directions to go. The P08, much as the Voyager, is a stable and clean ...

Re: LFO Speed Phatty vs. CP-251
251's lfo is the same as voyagers if i remember correctly. you can use cv to speed it up or just use osc 3 for some wild lfo speeds. i still miss the continous control on the phatty as opposed to the octave jumps on osc 3.
