Re: Voyager envelope, fades out even with held gate

once it's faded out you can bring the level back up by turning the decay down and then make it fade again by turning decay back up. This can be automated/sequenced

Re: Voyager envelope, fades out even with held gate

There's this quote from Amos:

also make sure volume envelope DECAY value is right down -- there's a quirk in Bob's Voyager envelope design (which we also used in the Phatty), such that the sustain level will gradually bleed away to nothing if the Decay level is too high.

I think there was ...

Re: Voyager envelope, fades out even with held gate

It's definitely the decay settings. There's some posts about it from years ago that explains it. As you've discovered , you need short decay times for drones or it stops. If decay is above 50% then the level continues to zero and you don't have anything to sustain.

Re: mounting moogerfoogers?

A desk or table sounds like a better idea than the speaker cabinet.

My last desk was from ikea and ended up bending under the weight of my gear. It got to the stage where it was beggining to collapsing so i built my own from 2 16u open frame racks, 2 extendable breakfast bar legs and some ...

Re: mounting moogerfoogers?

Sounds good 👍.
If your board isn't too thick you can reattach the Moogerfooger feet so you don't loose them. The board goes between the Moogerfoogers and the feet and then you screw them together with the original Moogerfooger screws. That's what I've done with the rack.
With the other pedals I ...

Re: mounting moogerfoogers?

I have two of the Moogerfooger rackmount kits that work quite well. One has three Moogerfoogers in it and the other holds a vx351, vx352, cp251, and a Minitaur.

To mount most of my other pedals in a rack I used some rack blanking panels, a bit of MDF, pedal tape/velcro and some L shaped brackets ...

Do you get the same problem with the plug in editor and the standalone editor ?

It works for other people on Windows 10 64bit.
i5 cpu and Asus z97k using the onboard graphics works for me.
Minitaur driver version is 4.35.0_2017-11-02

I'm pretty sure the os revisions that ummagumma linked to work on all Voyagers.

Re: Moogerfooger Power Supplies, Expression Pedals

Hi Nick.

I think Moog music as well as some retailers sometimes have offered a free expression pedal for the purchase of some Moogerfoogers. To my knowledge, no MoogerFooger was systematically sold with the expression pedal.

Hope this helps.

That's right Stiiiiiiive. There were a few ...

Re: Moogerfooger Power Supplies, Expression Pedals

I had thought the lack of a power supply would be *extremely* disadvantageous to a successful sale. At the same time, however, I don’t want to sell at fire sale prices. I have found what may be suitable adapters for less than $20. If I can sell the item for an additional $100 wouldn’t it be worth ...

Re: Moogerfooger Power Supplies, Expression Pedals

I don't think any of them came with an expression pedal.
They need power supplies with centre positive polarity.
I'm pretty sure the voltage and ma ratings are in the manuals. If you no longer have the manuals you can download them from Moogs website.

If you do Google searches for mf101 power ...

Re: Noob question

Normally when you tweak something the value jumps from the stored value to whatever position the knob/slider is at. With takeover mode ( sometimes called pass through mode) the value won't change untill you pass through the stored value resulting in a smoother change.

In panel mode you no longer ...

Re: Trouble using Roland JX-08 as MIDI controller

Do you have another synth to try with the jx/k25m ? Either that or try hooking it up to a midi monitor ( like midiox)to see what its sending.
