Re: What are the differences between the Paul Vo Edition and

From what I've seen the Vo edition has a one-piece rift sawn Maple neck, and the E1 has a three-piece laminated quarter sawn neck.

Re: How was the action on your Moog Guitar when you got it?

The truss rod needed a tweak on my brother's E1 when we got it. I took care of it, and it played fine after that. It was just a little too tight.

Re: Setup advice

Other than your standard guitar setup stuff, I'd say the most important thing is having the pickups set to the right height. It seems to me that the Moog Guitar's pickups tend to sit a little closer to the strings than most regular guitar pickups.

The 101 manual says that the drive knob is always on even when the pedal is bypassed. The easy way around that is to simply turn it all the way down. That doesn't work with the 105 though I don't think.

For that matter, true-bypass is a bit over-rated and the fooger's click-free on/off is ...

Wow moogmoog, it sounds like everyone here is missing your point. I don't have any answers for you now, but I'll look into it. It is possible, I think, but you have to figure that everytime your drummer does some synchopated weird-ass fill, it'll throw your MuRF off. And if your drummer is anything ...

I have three 60 watt amps (all tube)

Marshall JCM 2000 TSL60H (on top of a 1960B 4x12" cab)

Fender Hot Rod DeVille 4x10" combo

Sovtek MiG-60

I'm currently researching dual EL34 30 watt 2-channel amps.

...though I prefer 6CA7s

I have one of the old rack-mount three band parametric equalizers and I would freakout to have the thing in a moogerfooger.

The vocoder sounds like a great idea. Maybe one of us can order the make-it-yourself analog vocoder kit from PAiA electronics and put it in a moogerfooger chassis to convince ...

Another option is to simply make an expression pedal yourself out of an old wah pedal or something.

Here's one resource if you want to know how. I haven't read it thoroughly and tried it; I'm sure there are other resources if you look.
