I would like to be able to ADJUST THE LCD CONTRAST! I dont want my screen and or lights to burn out over time and have to send the whole dang-on keyboard back in for service! PLEASE ADD THIS FEATURE! IT IS ON EVERY OVER SYNTH I OWN EXCEPT THIS ONE!

I would like to have the ability to adjust the LCD Contrast. I feel that it's too bright and that the pixels will probably start dimming after 7-8 years. I'd only have my brightness up to 40%.

The digital noise actually adds a real life SIGNATURE to the TE sound. Reminds me of the ring mod that you get when you playback samples on the EMU SP1200. Personally, I think the noise is HOT, it adds depth and personality.

OK - summary: you have midi IN to the LP, no problem (that's how you updated the OS). You have no signs of midi OUT from the LP (nothing shows in MidiOx) - no MIDI OUT means no ability to export anything from the LP.

Got any other synths? Connect MIDI OUT from the LP to MIDI IN on any other synth ...

so in MidiOx, are you getting MIDI note data and CC messages from the LP?

check View-> Input Monitor to see incoming MIDI activity.

Well, I did a temp. job of saving my work. I just wrote out my settings out on paper for the sounds I made. Luckily it was only two bass lines. im not questioning your troubleshooting abilities but it would seem by a process of elimination...midi port works with all other gear EXCEPT the LPTE then all i can say is thank god for warranties ;) i havent checked my TE out fully yet but is there a midi on/off setting or perhaps channel settings ...

i troubleshot like a pro. i checked my drivers and they are the most upto date. This is sickening.
