hard case

As I said before on another post-the ideal way to fly with the phatty is not with a flight case but with the soft bag taken on board as hand luggage.I have been doing this for 2 years-it works and avoids the possibility of a lost or damaged/ruined Moog. The ATA case is of course the preferred case ...

LP on an airplane; need advice on packing

Welcome to the world of a traveling musician! Stinks huh?Ha Ha!
Nice one Mike!
Not exactly glamorous is it?
I sometimes think that music colleges
should be taking students on road trips for weeks at a time to check that this is really the lifestyle for them!
Also makes you think next time you attend ...

Durbility of Little Phatty

I've had my Phatty on road trip tours lasting weeks, on planes, boats, trains,
using the soft bag like a backpack-it's been great!I have to say that when you're out on the road most gear is getting a pretty rough time compared to sitting at home or in a studio and I was a little concerned with ...

LP on an airplane; need advice on packing

I travel often with my phatty as hand luggage in the soft bag (minus the zipper which fell apart very quickly but with baggage straps). It just about weighs the max for hand luggage and in terms of size fits into all overhead lockers.I send my Moogerfoogers, cables etc. together with clothes as ...

Norway, as a whole, on the other hand, is still swedish territory. But the norwegians will never admit that. Never. Never!

Assar, you are really skating on thin ice here.No need to comment on that one.However to clarify the rest of your post;

Firstly, the double k in the word "kulokker" is of ...

Stage's keyboard

Some good points there Wilson-thanks.

Can the action be adjusted Amos?
If so could I get this done at the same time as getting the hardware upgrade and will this be possible via Prolyd (Moog's distributor)in Oslo where I bought it?

My own view regarding the tribute owners concerns voiced in other ...

here's my wonky Tribute keyboard
The stage I played was perfectly straight and smooth and I was wondering when Moog improved it? Was it just for the Stage or do some Tributes also have the uniformly even keyboard?

Stage's keyboard

Thanks Sine- yup it's a Hohner E7 Clavinet. 60 strings give it some nice vibrations!

Still keen to hear from those who have played both tribute and stage for their
impressions-I loved the feel of the stage!Seemed somehow more stable than mine.

Stage's keyboard

Tribute owner #860 .Tried my first stage yesterday-it plays like a different synth!I was quite amazed how good it played compared to my tribute.
The most obvious improvement being the keyboard.I don't remember reading on this forum or anywhere else that Moog had come up with a new and improved ...

LP Tribute Edition is available

There is also one for sale in Oslo (that's in Norway BTW).Strange that with only 1200 in the whole world one is still available here. The guys in the shop seemed quite unaware of the rarity factor.

Tribute = No Second Mod Destination

I think that producing an exclusive limited edition synth (Tribute) which is then closely followed by a non limited edition synth (Stage) with extra features not available to the first edition (second modulation destination) is a very peculiar marketing strategy-to put it kindly!

I am sure that ...
