I'm using my Phatty as a controller in Logic as well, I can bang out thick jazz chords no problem. It's curious that you're only able to output 3 or so.

I don't use Local Off mode though, I just mute the Phatty when I'm controlling other things with it -- but I doubt that would make a difference ...
