I need some advice from anyone who is using CV/Gate to control their Voyager. I have pretty much determined that it is not a volta problem, and the only thing that could be causing latency ...

no wonder why it felt like a cheap p.o.s. - it was because it is a cheap p.o.s

2 pieces of plastic, a piece of foam, 4 screws and a 10 cent radio shack momentary switch...

and a cheap cord with a t.s. end

i think ...

i am using a roland dp2 footswitch, and i am guessing that it is "normally open"

so if i get a moog fs-1 or another "normally closed" footswitch i should be ok, correct?

i just got an older studio logic controller from my friend bryan for my birthday

almost the same feel as the voyager's keys !

for some reason, i can never get it to stay in time with the bpm of my track. i know my timing is not that bad, so could it be my footswitch, or does this happen a lot with other people?

what footswitch do you recommend ? is the fs-1 any good?

i use a voyager and an fmr rnc together, and i have had excellent results, in the studio...

not live

but, i think you would be happy with it live, especially for making your patches that vary dynamically and in pitch fit better with the other instruments you or the other band members are using ...

i thought so...

but studiologic / fatar do not sell anything like the moogs keyboard, at least not now

anyone have any ideas ???

around 4 out of every ten keypresses i get i faint click no matter what envelope setting i have

almost sounds like digital jitter clicks and pops, but that isn't possible

This sounds lik ethe contact of the keyboard to the left hand section board is not OK. So better check this before shipping the Moog.

then why am i able to disable the keyboard and play from another controller, and still have the problem ?

That really sucks, man. I can't imagine how you feel. If it makes you feel any better, I bought an new (used) car a few weeks ago. The first time I go to start it up after I drove it off the lot, it doesn't start up. They old saying is true, "sh*t happens!", but it will work out.
