Is V2.21 a new OS? I remember V2.2 (not sure if it was V2.21). Then that was taken down and V2.1 was only available. Now V2.21 is up.
EDIT: From the included install instructions it certainly is. Wow easier than ever OS update. I'll let you know how it goes. I wonder why there was no announcement?
EDIT2: Went to perform the OS update. According to the directions "go to the LP Master menu, System Utilities, and set FW UPDATE: ON."
I am running OS v2.1 and there is not a FW UPDATE option under System Utilities.
Is a new OS up for download?
Re: Is a new OS up for download?
Success!!!!
By far the easiest update yet. Don't fear the update.
Even though I did not have the "FW UPDATE: on" option under the system utilities menu I proceeded anyway being very careful not to touch any knobs or keys. The funny thing is after updating to v2.21 the menu option still does not exist.

Re: Is a new OS up for download?
i have 2.20 which came with the LP when i purchased it. Is there an up grade from this? And does anyone know about the LP editor refresh apparently there was a new one coming??
Re: Is a new OS up for download?
I am not sure if there is anything added to v2.21 over that of v2.2. The only difference maybe a much smooth install procedure. The description for the update listed: "adds increased compatibility for the VST Little Phatty Editor." So I guess there is something new, but I do not use the computer editor. I held at v2.1 till some install issues got cleared up (ending up being a weird issue updating, only if you were updating from v1.03b to v2.2, all others before or after installed fine). I am now happy to have all the menu diving available as CCs. Controller mapping fun.
The install file is now an *.exe, so it was just click and go. Those that have been fearing upgrading their LP, don't. The new procedure is about as direct and straightforward as possible.
