Moog Liberation oscillators tuning

Post by omvibes » Thu Jul 29, 2010 11:16 am

Hi, my Liberation seems to be out of tune. Two octave intervals clearly (to my ears) are out of tune with each other (flat), and the bottom end seem to be sharp (again, to my ears)

Now, it could be that I'm just incompetent :D and simply cant tune the thing up properly. But...assuming I'm doing everything right, is tuning the oscillators something which only a tech can do, or is there a simple procedure I can do? I have the schematics to hand, if that makes a difference

Thanks for the advice,

Oli

Yes, I know...zombie thread!

I posted this below, my Lib seemed to be fine for a long time, but has now gone out of tune again - over the whole 3 octave keyboard, the notes go at least a semi-tone out of tune. Please, anyone, any advice?

Thanks, Oli

Hi all, please ignore previous post...discovered the keyboard trim dials...on the base of the keyboard. Doh! Adjusted them, and back up and running now. As you were! :D
