moog rogue sequencer

hi everyone-
just wanted some input about this. i have a moog rogue. i would like to run it with a sequencer. i was thinking of getting the mfb step64 as its hardware with knobs and seems akin to old style pitch/step sequencers, or getting one of those kenton midi to c/v solos and using some software sequencers to run the rogue. the kenton usb solo is 100 bucks cheaper than the step64 and has maybe more potential. what do you all think?
