minimoog model D patches

Post by steveo » Mon Aug 18, 2003 4:36 pm

I have the opportunity to sample a friends model D minimoog. I have never programmed a minimoog before and would like to know if anybody can indicate a resource either on the web or in print format that could describe how to program patches for the mini. Eventually, I will be able to program my own original patches but I do not have regular or frequent access to this mini.

I do plan on purchasing a Voyager within the next year, but as you all know the Voyager is a large financial investment for some (i.e. me) and i would like to have some experience with the mini architecture before I purchase a Voyager anyway, so this seems like a great way to get started.

Thanks so much for your time!

Regards,

Stephan

Stephan,

You could check out these two sites:

http://www.fantasyjackpalance.com/fjp/s ... oog.html#5
http://www.soundofmusic.se/synth/minimoog/minimoog.htm

They seem to have copies of the original minimoog patch sheets (as well as other mini resources).

And the voyager is definitely worth saving up for. :)

Pierre
