Afterpressure question???
I'm looking for multiple ways of doing this, I just haven't had time to figure them out. I want the afterpressure to function just like the modwheel (ex. controlling pitch modulated by an LFO) leaving the modwheel free for other uses. I have a VX-351, CP-251, and a MF-102. Thanks for the help.

Use the second modulation bus.
If you want pitch modulation controlled by aftertouch (which is not very handy!) set source to triangle, destination to pitch, shaping to pressure and use the amount knob to adjust the maximum range of the modulation.
I prefer using aftertouch for controlling the filter cutoff or more complex modulations, but not for changing the pitch.

That wasn't exactly what I was looking for. I want to use the pressure signal from the VX-351 and route it so that it works like turning up the modwheel. Problem is that I get a strange initial value that I'm not sure how to compensate for. I should have explained the example better.

Hi -
To control the Pedal/On Modulation Bus, the best way to do this is per preset - use the POT MAPPING function to assign Afterpressure to control MOD1 (MOD1 is the controller signal for the Pedal/On Mod Buss). If you have the editor - I think this is can be done quickly to a large number of presets.
There are 4 "pot maps" in total, so you could also use another to assign Afterpressure to control the Mod Wheel - which I think was your original intent. You can also use POT MAPPING to reassign the Mod Wheel to other front panel controls, which was something else you said you were interested in doing.
On the Voyager itself, POT MAPPING lives in the EDIT menu. There are a lot of usage tips for Pot Mapping on this forum, and on the KnobTweak yahoo group. And of course there is a detailed description in the users manual...
If you're cool using the pedal/on buss, another way to do this if you have a VX-351 - patch the pressure output to the MOD1 input on the back of the voyager.
