I' ve been enjoying my Moog 104z delay for a while now, and its always behaved well. For the last week, i cant get it to keep up the feedback to where it starts looping. It used to do this easily after passing about 8 on the Feedback knob, but now its acting like 10 (the max) is at about 4. I've put it through various keyboards, different cables, etc. I've only ever used the Moog adapter that came with it. This is without pedals or CV being sent in. I tried using a pedal to drive the Feedback CV to the max, but still no luck. Suggestions? Help! Its too expensive to be breaking.
Also, my MF-103 phaser doesnt bypass 100% of the time, even when the bypass light turns to red. Does that mean a broken footswitch, that Moog can repair?
My 104z won't continuously feedback. MF103 wont bypass.

My delay was giving me grief like that too, and also not repeating at all sometimes when I hit the switch. Even though the light would go green.
There is a piggy back circuit card inside that can come loose and short against the faceplate of the delay. I pulled the sides off mine, pushed it back down firmly on the pins and insulated it with a piece of card stock. (Found the info on this forum.) It has been golden ever since. You might want to try that yourself.
I have no clue on the 103. If the light changes color, the switch is working.

I had the same problem with the delay. I have read a member here had the same problem, even stopped the jumper from shorting on the faceplate but it still happened.
You need to get an RMA. I sent mine back, and it works like a breeze. I love that unit.

Sure enough, that did it. Thanks for the tip. I opened her up and made sure some things were solidly held.
The phaser is off and on with the bypass problem. The light will change from green to red, but the signal is not bypassed, its unchanged from the phaser being on. It seems to fix sometimes if i give the bypass switch 30 or more quick bangs, which probably isnt the best for it.

for your phaser you're not using the aux out are you? I figure probably not, but doesn't the phase keep going through that output even when bypassed? Sometimes the solutions are simple, easily-overlooked things. BTW, I've seen your youtube videos with your ARP axxe and roland rs-09, that is the bleep dude!
