Frostwave and Moogerfooger: two great tastes that go great together.

I got my hands on a Frostwave Fat Controller last night and I had some great fun with it, worthy of mention here.

CV output A of FC into CUTOFF input of 101
Gate output A of FC into MIX input of 101 (via lag processor of 251 to smooth clicks)

I got myself the Moog VCO I've been buggin everyone about. I also had CV output B controlling the CUTOFF frequency of the Frostwave Resonator so I had a great squelchy sound which was fully programmable!

Doesn't that guy from TV On The Radio do that?

I haven't the foggiest idea... where did you hear that? I would be interested to hear more. I haven't heard any info on their instrumentation. I like their "young liars" EP a lot but "bloodthirsty babes" didn't really do it for me and I haven't heard their new new one.

I don't know...They seem very post-radiohead college rock to me. Kinda boring good vibe quasi soul. I dig the Swans man... Those guys DO have style though.

I would be interested to know more about their gear, actually if anyone knows. Who do you think has style, BTW? Not clear to me from your post. I don't really see a whole lot of Radiohead in their stuff other than the falsetto singing. Quasi-soul I agree, but good vibe, I'm not so sure. Some of it's downright depressing. Maybe we're talking about different albums?
