What was the setup in the studio when they did the AB test whit the T1 and the T3? I mean speakers, amps, etc, ... I guess if it was good for moog I can inspire myself with that rig for my own needs!
Both T1/T3 went through Chandler Limited Germanium preamps.
I don't know the model but the monitors were large JBL monitors. They were three way with dual 12 inch speakers, mid horn, and high frequency horn. The monitors were integrated into the studio walls. Pretty sure they haven't been in production for years. I don't remember the power amp, it may have been a Bryston.
However this was a professional acoustic treated room. No parallel walls. Very few resonances anywhere and I walked around to listen for them. Very little ambient reflections.
It was a very flat sounding system and very nice for picking the intricate details of the Taurus voice.
