How could I sync an analogue sequencer to multitracks in a DAW without using MIDI?
I have several rhythmic analogue sequences that I want to record one at a time creating a tight groove together. If I'm using an analogue sequencer without MIDI capabilities is there a way for the computer somehow sync start the sequencer without having to use MIDI hardware?
I want a superfast/supertight groove. I know you can accomplish that with computer software/hardware (Volta or Silent Way) or with the new Kenton USB interface but I'm also trying to only use the computer for audio recording only, not note input.

I've never played with this, but it sounds like you might want to use an SMPTE sync pulse. I did a quick Google, and came up with this link. It might be a good starting place, if not the answer.Man-Machine wrote:How could I sync an analogue sequencer to multitracks in a DAW without using MIDI?
