Hello all... happy new year! Hope everyone had a good start to 2010.
I got a Voyager Os a little over a month ago and I just noticed that if I turn off all the oscillators and play some notes, I can hear some noise coming through. The volume of the noise will follow whatever settings I have on the volume envelope. I can it hear through headphones if I have the headphone volume set at or past 12:00 on the dial. It's not extremely loud but it is noticeable when I am trying to record parts where the filter cutoff is low.
Is this normal? Does anyone else get this?

Yes, I get this...and its normal.
I also use the Old School - when all oscilators (and noise generator) are switched off...I get a subtle (yet noticeable) white noise hiss that follow the EG settings...
Some analog synths do this....some dont - so dont worry.
