MIDI Question for Voyager Application

Post by calvinistsandlutherans » Mon Dec 28, 2009 12:38 pm

Hi folks,

I suppose this isn't a Voyager question per se, but it does have a Voyager application, so here goes...

I've written some polyphonic MIDI songs in Reason, pretty straightforward. I want to record them on my Voyager (and yes I know that I can't send from Reason straight to the Moog, that's no sweat) polyphonic style, using several tracks - i.e. I'll record a separate track of Voyager for every polyphonic bit. What I'm wondering is this: does there exist any software that will take a polyphonic MIDI file, and split it into an efficient number of monophonic MIDI parts?

That way a file like this:

<time> ->
E
A........G

Would become

File one
E

File two
A........G

Any help would be much appreciated!!
