more fixes?

Post by goldphinga » Fri Sep 17, 2004 6:03 am

i'm still waiting for moog to incorporate octave up and down functions as i used to use them all the time on my source and miss them on gigs badly. they replied to me saying they are looking into it. octave up and down are standard performance controls on nearly every synth so its strnage these were left off along with the filter glide function.

also i wonder whether moog could incorporate a facility to use the keyboard as a numeric keypad for selecting patches or something along those lines? i know the editor will help sort patches but i still feel they should have added a bank select switch with preset buttons.

Yes an octave switch would be really nice to have. I wonder which button combination they will use. It should be fast and easy to change octave especially live on a dark stage.

Although I can say that this problem doesn't bother me a bit, maybe a button combo could do the trick:

(Hold down the Master button and press the -1 and +1 buttons to transpose octaves.) Do-able with one hand, and makes logical sense. Rudi?

That said, I'd much rather see a filter/glide fix.
