Post by Indeed » Wed Sep 01, 2004 3:51 am

Hi all,
I just got the ES-1 pedal, havin fun tryin out all the CV options...For some reason, I cannot pan the signal to the hard left. I can only pan hard right to center. Have to do w/ filter spacing? any insight is appreciated...

Peace out

Most of the CV jacks use 0 to +5 volts.

The pan jack uses -2.5 to +2.5 volts. At zero volts it is dead center. The reason it is designed this way is so that with nothing plugged in the PAN jack, it is normalled to ground or zero volts, so it is normalled to center.

If you have a CP-251 use the mixer and its OFFSET knob to get your pedal to swing to -2.5 volts, then it will pan hard left.
