This is excellent... most of my issues have been sorted in one update... just need the software editor for PC now!

The upgrade has worked fine here.

Though I realized that the LFO Rate "8 Triple" is gone. Is that correct and why is that?

I just tried to update my MP201 firmware to V2.0 and had (I believe) the same crash described by others in this thread:

Using a Windows CPU, I backed up all my presets and then followed the update instructions carefully...everything seemed to go perfectly...I did factory restore, then calibrated the footpedal. I then turned off the unit and turned it back on (my USB cable was still plugged in...mistake??)...when it came back on I got the dreaded blank screen. The end. Poop!!

Judging by earlier posts by Amos it seems there may be the possibility of reprogramming the unit myself. I have a huge gig tonight and SXSW in 5 days...I am in a full-on panic (my own fault for trying the update at such a critical time...but I was sooo excited when I found out the update exists!)

Can anyone help me get instructions/necessary software to reprogram the unit myself?? Or is my only option to send the unit back to Moog?

I'm glad to report a happy ending, I think... a couple of hours later it started working again! Might have been a wonky power connection.
Brian, definitely keep in touch and let me know if everything stays good now...

Another happy customer. Update done (I've been holding off a month or so to get a studio project out of the way incase any fine tuned presets changed at all!), not only is it all up and running now, but it has also resolved a few issues I had with V1.1 (Like the heel setting of LFO rates changing!).

Had a few issues with backing up my presets, but think thats down to my mac config. Everything is spot on now and I'm loving they tweaks and added functionality!

It is one year or more when my mp-201 crushed... probably you remember, we were talking about this blank screen/ power supply problems via email, but than I had to focused on other things in life so my MP is still dead. So what can I do about it? Can you give me instructions to reprogram it or should I send it to moog factory?
I'm just sad when I remember that I have a great tool which is just waiting for something to happen
Any help would be very useful.
