Some ideas with CP-251?

Post by iggypop » Mon Jul 06, 2009 9:50 am

Hello,

I have just got a CP-251 Control Processor and I would like some ideas or help to connect it (CV) to my other gear which is a MURF and a Moogerfooger Low-pass filter. I have also got a Moog the Rogue.

Thanks,

Iggy

Yep. Check out both the CP-251 manual and the manuals for the Foogers. They'll give you some good ideas for how to patch things together.

I Have also recently bought a CP-251 to go with my Phatty. Ring mod and Phaser.
Endless fun so far, i now have more than enough LFO's to play with...

Just need the FreqBox to keep me totally happy....

If you read the CP-251 manual, and listen to what each section is doing to your sound im sure you will find it a great tool to work with...

Really? I have an identical setup, and I don't think I have enough LFO's. I also need more patch cords and another Voltor box (50k linear pots attached to TRS jacks mounted in a box) is in the works. I'll be getting the MF-107 eventually, as well. Also, I need the MF-101.

Well including the LFO's from the Ringmod and phaser CP-251 and the phatty, that gives me 4 LFO's ...

Hi Iggy,

KnobTweak has some good ideas & info on ways to use the CP-251 with Moogerfoogers, as well as the Voyager and Little Phatty synths. In particular, check out the MuRF & Bass MuRF folder (KnobTweak > Files > Moogerfoogers > MuRF) for settings, configs and ideas.

This should help to jump start your explorations with the Rogue.

Yeah...it just seems like I could use six or seven. Oh, well. More synth stuff is in my near future, so I'll be getting more LFO's sooner or later. And Greg is right...lots of good stuff on KT.
