The only cable that should come with the VX is the DB 25 cable to connect it to your Voyager. So, you're on your own getting those extra 20 (at least!) 1/4" cables! As far as patching, a fun one is to take the Mod Wheel CV > LFO rate in. LFO Square > Env Gate in. Turn the Env Gate switch to on/external. Voila, variable rate repeating. I use this with a Buchla Percussion sounding patch, and it's a lot of fun!

It all depends on wht other CV gear you have. THe Vx351 is a great tool for things like controlling other CV gear with the touchpad or with keyboard voltages (like getting extra oscs out of the freqbox or external filter sweeping via kbd)

Its really great for giving you alot of extra sources for voltages for new destinations, including the voyagers cv inputs.

You should invest in TRS patch cords rather than just the mono patch cables because trying to run something like the touchpad out to the mix knob of a ring mod and the kbd voltage into the Osc input of the ringmod will cause the signals to ground out and you won't get your function like you intended to.

Good, sounds like you're on the right track. No need to worry when you have a Voyager anyway.
