Librarian for Moog Voyager

Post by RizalKhan » Fri Sep 12, 2008 1:42 pm

Guys,

Anyone on version 3.4 that tried the new release of the librarion (released on 8th Sep).

I seem to be having problems receiving banks from my Moog to the librarian.

I have tried
a) Checking to make sure the Midi cable works
b) Checking the send out from the voyager works (in fact, when I turn knobs on Moog, it reflects on the librarian software).

I'm having the same problem with v. 3.4. Can't receive banks.
Switched back to v. 3.0. Works like a charm.
Did anybody contact Soundtower about it?
I'm on Mac OSX v. 10.5.5.

Hmmm... Could be an issue with OSX 10.5 & higher. Seems to be working okay in OSX 10.4.

Are you running version 3.4.1 of the Editor? If not, download from here:

Hi! I'm using the demo version of the Librarian (3.4.1) on a 1.8 GHz single-core PPC Mac G5 running osX 10.5.5. Signature Series V'ger with no upgrades. I had no problems downloading the program bank to the Librarian. Perhaps it's only a problem with the Intel Macs?

I'm usually a lurker in the Voyager section, as I don't own a Voyager (yet), but I just wanted to add my two cents. There are a lot of compatibility issues with Intel Macs, as far as software is concerned. Bunnyman, you are most likely correct that the Intel Macs have a problem running the Librarian. The Intel Macs have numerous compatibility issues with a variety of third-party software, most kinks are being worked out, though.

not even load the programm ...

the new version 3.4.1 works for me now.
only thing strange: it now says "SE" version, what ever that means.

SE = SoundEditor, a name that shows up on some other SoundTower products. Personally, I like it better than "Editor/Librarian", which always sounded to me like a job description...
