Low output level of MF102 Ring Mod
I currently have 3 foogers: MF102, 103, and 105. The final output level of the 102 seems very low in comparison to the other two. Even if I turn the drive all the way up, the level at the output never gets very loud. Is this difference I'm noticing just due to the output controls the other two foogers have? If so, I reall wish the 102 had that feature! I have to use a preamp to get the Ring Mod to the levels I want for recording. I'd love to hear what other MF102 owners experience has been concerning the output levels of the foogers.
if you are going direct in from the 102 to your recording source, then you would notice a difference between the other two and the 102. I suggest a decent boost pedal.
Generally I've found that if there is an output knob, you can get some good direct sounds at good levels, otherwise you need to amplify it...

Vibration emanates from all things, even nothing. Using awareness to translate vibration into "music" is something that I am whole heartedly grateful for.
