mp-201: tap tempo for mf-104z

Post by vier-personen » Sat Feb 09, 2008 9:13 am

I´m trying to figure out if the mp-201 can work as a tap tempo device for the mf-104z delay? I have read someplace it can, somewhere else that it can´t.
if tap tempo for the delay would be possible I´d preorder right away!

I think you can only tap the tempo of the LFO..
The tap 'clock' is probably internal, so you won't be able to use it for external devices.

thanks for the reply.
that´s what I thought, you tap the tempo of the LFO. But what happened if I connect this LFO to the time input of the delay?

Then you are modulating the delay time. Remember, an LFO has a value that changes.

I suspect Moog will add tap tempo capabilities for the delay, as it seems pretty easy to program.
