MMV External Env Gate problem...
Hi,
I've been noticing that I can't trigger the Voyager envelopes from the "env Gate" jack. Using the MMV software, I can change the Filt/Vol gates to fire from the touch pad, S+H, kybd gate, etc, but when I set them to "Env Gate Input," they stay constantly on, whether I've got a standard Boss FS-5U footswitch (tried both polarities) plugged in or not.
Is this something that is broken physically, or was this a feature that hardware/software version 3.3 / aftertouch mod took away.

Yes. I flipped the ENV. GATE switch...what I found out after I posted was the reset procedure from the v2.1 manual. This solved the problem, but now I have to re-program!

I tried this today.latigid on wrote:Could you run audio through a unit with an env. generator (e.g. 101, freqbox) and patch the env. out to env. trigger on the Voyager?
I used the noise output on a CP-251 to "trigger" the envelope on a MF-101.
I sent it to the envelope in on the Voyager, and nothing happened. It did not seem to work.
The ENV. LED on the 101 was triggering, so I know a signal was bing sent.
Just to "make sure" everything was working right, as I used my Q119 secuencer to trigger the same thing. Everything worked as it should.
