LFO to BPM

Post by SUMMA_RIOT » Wed Jun 06, 2007 10:26 am

hi, this might seem like a realy silly question, but does anyone know of a way of calculating the oscillator rate to beats per min? or of an 'online calculator'? i am trying to use this to create an arpeggiator effect.

get music math. has a hz to bpm counter then go off the knobs lables to get a rough idea, use your ears, then send a midi sync message at the rate you'd like

MusicMath is brilliant, i was thinking exactly the same re syncing the leo rate to Logic's tempo. I actually prefer doing it by finding the Hz via MusicMath then dialling in the LFO rate, as long as you use your ear and get it close you'll know.
But the great thing is that it's not EXACT, and i like that, you can get it close, even bang on, but i like how you can use your ear and tweak it to adjust your feel for the track.
