I "found" a model 1150 ribbon controller-which was in storage for years, but can't figure out how to hook it up to either my mini moog or sonic 6.
It has a 2 position switch, one for the mini, and one for the sonic 6.
But the huge connector with 8 pins doesn't match any connection on my mini or sonic 6. They all have 6 pin accessory connetions.
Is some type of an adaptor needed for this connection?
TIA

What you need is the Universal Cable Assembly Accessory 994-041983-001.
This assembly consisted of an 8 pin female cable connector on one end and a 6 pin male cinch connector, a 2 pin male cinch connector and two 1/4 inch phone plugs on the other.
Since it has not been available for a while, here is the pin-out on the 8 pin connector:
1. + Voltage
2. GND
3. - Voltage
4. S. Trigger
5. Gnd
6. V. Trigger
7. Aux Out
8. Pitch Out
Here is the pin-out on the 6 pin cinch connector:
1. + Voltage
2. GND
3. - Voltage
4. N.C. (No Connection)
5. N.C.
6. V. Trigger
The S. Trigger and Gnd goes to the 2 pin cinch male connector and Pitch & Gnd and Aux & GND each goes to it's own 1/4 inch phone plug.
Hope this helps.
