Hey guys, I've owned my MicroMoog for the better part of a year now and I fear it is starting to encounter some illnesses. As soon as I get some help, I am bravely going to open my baby up and see if I can bring her back to 1981 health!
1. The Pitch Ribbon! Ok, this is a big deal. When I first got my Micro, the pitch ribbon was off alignment, so loosened the screws that hold it in place so that it disables the pitch bend. But just recently, the screws fell out on my way to a show, and now the ribbon is just swimming freely! I don't know how to go about screwing it back in place. Maybe I'll post pictures of this problem later!
2. Two Messed Up Keys! Not so big a deal, but it worries me none the less. The high A and A# keys feel like they are missing a cusion or some type of padding at the top. In result, the are slightly higher elevated than all of the properly functioning keys. How do I go about checking out the keys more closely?
3. Aging LFO Pot? The filter is starting to skip just a little bit when I turn the emphasis all the way up and toggle the cutoff. I really use the filter alot, so I kind of want to bring it back.
4. Spring Cleaning! If anyone has any tips on just general cleaning procedures I would really appriciate it.
Well, as of now, that is my to-do list. I normally have a tech friend who helps me with this but he isn't going to be back until summer. Thanks alot guys!

Help with MicroMoog restoration!
Your smile grew thin as your family talked, arrived singing just a holiday song that didn't stop until you drank too much.
How come I'm so out of touch?

I'm sort of in the same boat as you. The repairs on my micromoog are almost complete but there's just one slight problem. The machine is un-tunable due to some voltage loss somewhere on the board.
So if anyone can tell me why pin 1 on IC202 is 2.60 and not 2.78V, I'd like to know. Power Supply @ 15.00V.
Hopefully Micromoog techs will look at this thread and help us both out.
