- Choose factory bank 6, program 10.
- Press (and hold) some d very softly. It sounds quite quietly, as expected.
- Press some neighbored key (like e or optionally c) very hard and hold it. The e sounds louder, as expected.
- Release e. d sounds again and does it quite quietly. It apparently remembered its previous velocity value.
This behavior is different from other synthesizers (e.g. TEO5, Take5, Korg Z1 etc.). The expected behavior was that the last d inherits the velocity of the (hardly pressed) e.
- Disable the Multi-Trigger switch in the envelopes section.
- Press (and hold) some d very softly. It sounds quite quietly, as expected.
- Press some neighbored key (like e or optionally c) very hard and hold it. The e does not sound louder, as expected, but apparently inherits the velocity value of the d.
- Release e. d sounds again and does it quite quietly. It apparently remembered its previous velocity value.
The other synths I mentioned behave differently which IMO is the much more musical approach and allows for articulation techniques the messenger currently does not provide. I hope this is being considered as a bug and fixed in some firmware update.
In case you think different, let me know
