How loose is the power pocket on a new unit?

I've just received a 2nd-hand Minitaur, the power socket feels loose to me, also a good few of the knobs move in their places a bit too much for my liking. Synth works fine, I just feel if I yank the power cable connected to the socket by accident at a gig it could break.

I'm thinking of sending it back and spending €266 extra to buy a brand new one from Thomann, I'd like to know if this is common, are new ones sometimes like this, and is there any way to fix this 2nd hand one? Could I open it up and tighten the power socket and knobs?
