Mariana 1.2 IOS stuttering

I installed Mariana on my iPad4 when it first came out and I think it’s a fantastic synth. But since the update to version 1.2, it seems to stutter constantly. I’ve read about the heavy CPU usage on the PC and Mac versions and tried all of the solutions they suggest, but it has no effect.

Is anyone else having issues with the iOS app, and what can I do to fix the problem?
